Teaching

Teaching at the centre teaches how psychosocial factors shape health and illness. Students learn at the interface of psychology, sociology and medicine - from theoretical principles to practical doctor-patient interaction. The curriculum provides sound preparation for the demands of medical practice.

Our range of courses in the integrated reform medicine (iRM) degree programme

Teaching at the Centre teaches health and illness from a bio-psycho-social perspective. At the interface of psychology, sociology and medicine, students learn how psychosocial factors permeate all areas of medicine. The focus is on the interaction between patients and those treating them - embedded in social and societal contexts.

The curriculum combines theoretical principles with practical reflection and prepares students specifically for the demands of future medical practice.
