[Translate to English:] Our center presented itself at BRAIN DAY

With two booths and a presentation, our center was represented at BRAIN DAY, an annual event where neuroscientists present their research to the interested public, patients, and anyone who wants to learn more about the human brain.

The Department of Social Neuroscience introduced visitors to research on social touch. Through distance measurements, functional near-infrared spectroscopy, and a large teddy bear, neuroscience became tangible.

The University Outpatient Clinic for Psychotherapy was also present with an information booth, providing information about psychotherapy, especially for chronic pain, and therapy research.

In addition, Dr. Julian Packheiser gave a talk on the topic “Mechanisms and Health Benefits of Social Touch.”
