New publication on empathy and visceral pain

In this current study, we investigated how we empathize with familiar and unfamiliar people who are experiencing abdominal pain (visceral pain).

The results show that we seem to be more empathetic towards familiar individuals, and help to understand how internal physical pain affects our psyche. The full paper can be read  HERE .
