M.Sc. Psych. Ina Külpmann is deputy head of the outpatient clinic in the Department of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology at RUB. She specialises in the treatment of chronic pain disorders and trauma-related disorders. She combines research, teaching and psychotherapeutic practice.

SSince 2023, she has been working as deputy head of the outpatient clinic in the Department of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology. Her responsibilities include teaching, research and psychotherapeutic practice. The close exchange between scientific research and clinical application makes it possible to continuously develop treatment programmes. She is currently undergoing further training in specialised pain psychotherapy, specialised psychotrauma therapy and schema therapy. Her treatment focuses on chronic pain disorders and trauma-related disorders.

Therapeutic approach

In her therapeutic work, she creates a framework that is characterised by recognition and appreciation. She accompanies patients on the path to their therapeutic goals. In doing so, she not only takes into account existing stresses and strains, but also supports patients in recognising and using their individual strengths and resources.
