M.Sc. Psych. Ina Külpmann is a psychological psychotherapist and deputy head of the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic Bochum at the Center for Medical Psychology and Translational Neuroscience.
Career
She studied psychology at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and completed her training as a psychological psychotherapist there. Additionally, she acquired the additional qualification for children and adolescents.
Current activity
Since 2023 she has been working as a psychological psychotherapist and research assistant in the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic Bochum. Her duties include a variety of tasks in the fields of research, teaching and psychotherapeutic practice. Currently, she is in advanced training for special pain psychotherapy and special psychotraumatology and therefore primarily treats people with chronic pain conditions and trauma-related disorders.
Therapeutic approach
In her therapeutic work she values an atmosphere characterized by recognition and appreciation. She wants to accompany her patients trustingly on their way to their therapy goals. In doing so, she not only looks at the existing problems but also wants to support her patients in recognizing and expanding their individual strengths and resources.
